Released in 1995, Mega Man: The Power Battle is an arcade “boss rush” where players fight a series of Robot Masters across three distinct paths, platforming stages entirely in favor of immediate one-on-one combat.

Gameplay
- Boss Rush Format: You bypass traditional levels and fight bosses immediately in a “rock-paper-scissors” style, where each boss is weak to a specific Special Weapon.
- Playable Characters: You can choose between Mega Man, Proto Man, or Bass.
- Course Selection: The game is divided into three distinct paths based on different eras of the series:
- Mega Man 1–2
- Mega Man 3–6
- Mega Man 7
- Co-op Play: Supports two-player cooperative multiplayer, a first for the franchise at the time.

Characters Movement
The game features three playable characters with unique movement abilities, though their basic combat remains similar:
- Mega Man: Uses the classic Slide for mobility.
- Proto Man: Performs a Dash forward with his shield out (though it provides no extra protection).
- Bass: Features an Air Dash, allowing for unique aerial positioning.
