Marvel Super Heroes

Marvel Super Heroes is a 1995 fighting game developed by Capcom that originally ran on the Capcom Play System II (CPS2) arcade hardware. It is based on the “Infinity Gauntlet” storyline and features a unique Infinity Gem mechanic that grants characters temporary power-ups during battle.

Gameplay & Characters

Following X-Men: Children of the Atom, this was Capcom’s second Marvel fighting game and introduced the foundation for the later Marvel vs. Capcom series.

  • Infinity Gems: Six gems (Power, Time, Space, Reality, Soul, and Mind) can be activated during combat to provide specific boosts, such as increased speed or health recovery.
  • Controls: Uses a standard six-button layout consisting of light, medium, and heavy punches and kicks.
