Bells & Whistles (originally titled Detana!! TwinBee in Japan) is a classic vertically scrolling shooter released by Konami in 1991.

Gameplay Overview

• The World: Known for its “cute ’em up” aesthetic, you pilot the anthropomorphic spacecraft TwinBee (Player 1) and WinBee (Player 2) to save Planet Mel from the evil alien Iva.
• Bell Power-Ups: The signature mechanic involves shooting clouds to reveal bells. Shooting these bells repeatedly changes their color, with each color granting a specific power-up (e.g., speed boosts, shields, or “options” clones).
• Co-op Moves: Two players can execute special attacks by positioning their ships together, such as a powerful “wave shot” or a five-way spread.
