The X-Men Arcade game, released by Konami in 1992, is a legendary side-scrolling beat ’em up supported by the FinalBurn Neo (FBNeo) emulator. It is famous for its massive six-player cabinet that utilized two screens for a widescreen experience.

Story & Gameplay

Based on the 1989 animated pilot Pryde of the X-Men, the game follows a team of mutants attempting to stop Magneto from destroying human civilization. 

• Playable Characters: Cyclops, Colossus, Wolverine, Storm, Nightcrawler, and Dazzler.
• Villains: Players battle through waves of Sentinels and bosses like Pyro, Blob, Wendigo, Nimrod, the White Queen, Juggernaut, and Mystique.
• Mission: The team travels from city streets and Sentinel factories to Island M and finally to Asteroid M for the final showdown.
