Crossed Swords II is a hack-and-slash action RPG released by ADK in 1995 and it was developed exclusively for the Neo Geo CD system.

Playable Characters

Unlike the first game, which featured a single unnamed knight, the sequel offers three distinct heroes: 

• Ed: A veteran knight with high attack and defense but slow movement speed.
• Liza: An agile female magician with powerful magic and high speed but very low defense.
• Sakata: A balanced ninja/swordsman from the East with high-speed, razor-sharp skills. 

Story

Set several decades after the first game, the demon warlord Nausizz has been resurrected from the underworld. His dark castle has reappeared on Krugia Mountain, and his monstrous armies are once again threatening the kingdom of Belkana. Players take on the role of one of three new adventurers tasked with infiltrating his stronghold and stopping the demonic invasion.
